This policy explains how the Wisper website at wisper.in uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. We keep this list short and exact. If something isn't listed here, we don't use it.
Our approach
- Essential only, by default. Out of the box, this site stores only what it needs to work and to remember your privacy choice.
- Nothing non-essential without consent. Analytics or similar tools load only after you click Accept in the consent banner. Decline is just as easy and is fully respected.
- No advertising trackers. We don't use cookies for advertising, retargeting or cross-site profiling, and we don't sell data collected through them.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site save small pieces of information on your device. In this policy, "cookies" covers both, plus related technologies such as pixels and SDKs.
Cookies can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another service), and session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (kept for a set period).
What we use today
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work and to respect your choices. They can't be switched off in the banner, but you can block them in your browser.

Analytics
We do not currently run analytics on this site. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in future, it will:
- load only after you click Accept;
- be listed in this table with its name, provider, purpose and duration before it goes live;
- never be used for advertising.
The Wisper apps
The Wisper dictation apps use the storage they need to keep you signed in and remember your settings. That is covered in our Privacy Policy. This Cookie Policy covers the website.
Your choices
- Change your consent at any time. Use the Cookie preferences button below, or the link in the site footer, to reopen the banner and choose again.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary storage means we can't remember your choice, so you may see the banner again.
- Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to decline non-essential cookies.
Declining analytics never affects your access to the website or to Wisper.
Changes to this policy
When we add, remove or change any cookie, we update the tables above and the "Last updated" date. Material changes, such as introducing a new category, will prompt the consent banner to appear again.
