About Wisper

We're building the shortest path from thought to text.

Wisper is AI voice dictation for people who think faster than they type. We're a small, focused team on a simple mission: let anyone write as fast as they think, without giving up clarity, voice or privacy.

Why Wisper exists

Every day, millions of good ideas are slowed down by a keyboard. The thinking is done, but turning it into writing takes far longer than the thinking itself. So messages go unsent, documentation goes unwritten, and the second idea is lost while you're still typing the first.

Voice should have solved this years ago. People speak about three times faster than they type. But spoken language isn't written language. It's full of fillers, false starts and half-finished sentences, so traditional dictation produces transcripts that take longer to fix than to type.

Wisper starts where transcription ends. We combine accurate speech recognition with language models that understand what you meant, so you get clean, readable writing in your own voice, ready to send.

Our mission

Make writing as natural as speaking, so ideas move at the speed of thought.

What we believe

The principles behind every decision.

  • Your words are yours

Voice is personal. We process it to produce your text, keep audio short-lived by default, and never train on your content without permission.

  • Accuracy is the product

A fast tool that's wrong doesn't save time. We would rather ship fewer features that work reliably than many that almost do.

  • Get out of the way

The best writing tool is the one you forget you're using. No special commands, no dictation voice, no new place to work.

  • Respect the craft

Wisper doesn't write for you. It removes the friction between your thinking and the page, and keeps your tone, names and meaning intact.

  • Listen first

Our roadmap is shaped by the people who use Wisper every day. We read every piece of feedback, and it shows up in what we build.

  • Built for everyone

Voice input can be transformative for people for whom typing is slow or painful. Accessibility is a design requirement, not an afterthought.

How we work

Small team. High standards. Close to users.

  1. 01

    Ownership over hierarchy

Everyone owns problems end to end, from the first conversation with a user to the change running in production.

  2. 02

    Privacy reviewed before shipping

Every feature that touches voice or text goes through a privacy and security review before it reaches a user. No exceptions.

  3. 03

    Write it down

We're remote-first and asynchronous by default, so clear writing is how we think together. Yes, we dictate a lot of it.
